Why did you enter the teaching profession?

I have always wanted to share my love of mathematics. There are so many topics to explore and so much that hasn't been discovered yet. Mathematics is the backbone of the other sciences.

What I enjoy most about working at Terra State:

I enjoy getting to know my students both as their instructor and as their advisor in Phi Theta Kappa. It is a real treat to see students grow their leadership skills and academically.

Fun facts:

I have two daughters: one graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering and the other graduated from Ohio Northern University with a PharmD (pharmacy). Now that my girls are grown and out of the house, I have become a devoted mom to my pets. I have two Yorkies that demand my full attention when I am home. I love doing my crafts (knitting, crocheting and sewing) when my fur babies allow it.
