Did you transfer from Terra State to complete a bachelor degree before earning your associate degree? If so, you may be eligible for our reverse transfer program.
Reverse transfer is the process of transferring credits (coursework) from your current university back to Terra State for application toward an Associate degree.
Receive Your Associate Degree Through Reverse Transfer
Why should I apply for reverse transfer?
You've earned it - why not get the recognition you deserve! The process is simple and can help show your depth of education and training, whether you want an added bonus on your resume or want to show that you worked smarter by starting at a community college.
Having an extra credential is a great marketing tool for yourself. Oftentimes we don't give ourselves enough credit for the work we have done, with a simple reverse transfer you will have another way to set yourself apart from others on your résumé.
If you are determined eligible, an Academic and Career Advisor will contact you regarding submission of official documentation to complete the process moving forward. Your coursework will be evaluated based on the closest degree program, and only one associate degree will be awarded.
The Ohio Department of Higher Education (ODHE) also refers to reverse transfer as Credit When It’s Due (CWID). You can find more information on the ODHE website.
