Is it all worth it?

Yes! A Terra State certificate or degree is well worth the effort. Why?

You will increase your earning potential.

With an associate degree your earning potential will increase 62% when compared to someone with just a high school diploma, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Degree holders earn $836 per week while someone with just a high school diploma earns $712 per week. That is almost $6,448 more a year - think about this amount over a lifetime of working!

You will be more attractive to employers.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the unemployment rate drops from 4.6 to 3.4 when comparing someone with an associate degree to a person with just a high school diploma. This means there are more opportunities available to someone with a degree than without!
