Adam Sendelbach Named March Rotary Student of the Month
T
Terra State Community College student Adam Sendelbach has been named the College’s Rotary Student of the Month for March.
Sendelbach lives in Tiffin and graduated from Hopewell-Loudon in 2021. He was active in the Drama and Spanish clubs, participated in SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions) and helped in community soup kitchens.
He chose Terra State because he was offered a place on the first Titan men’s baseball
team. He is a music/recording major and plays for events on campus and in the community.
He enjoys performing and has always liked music, which sparked his interest in pursuing
a career in the field.
His nominator, Megan Osuna, said, “Adam is always willing to help with campus events
in any way he can. He has performed acoustic music for our admissions events and is
willing to participate in events we are hosting on campus. Whenever I have seen Adam
with his fellow students, he is always supportive and motivating.”
"I want to thank my family, friends, and girlfriend for their constant support," Sendelbach
said. "My experience at Terra has been fantastic! It has opened many doors for me,
helping to advance my music career to where it is now! Every moment spent with my
program friends is one of my most memorable experiences. They are all very kind and
creative individuals! I love music in general, so my major is simply amazing! Brennan
Willis, Terra State's music department director, has pushed me to step outside of
my comfort zone and pursue opportunities that I could only dream of. He has contributed
significantly to my success. In addition, the Admissions Department has been extremely
helpful. When I thought it was too much and I was having trouble making payments,
they recognized the events I participated in on campus and offered me scholarships
to help me get through those difficult times."
After his spring 2024 graduation, Sendelbach wants to make music that has an impact
and makes people feel something with the music he creates. He wants his music to connect
with people, whether it is a message or just emotion. He also wants to start a podcast
and continue to perform in venues in the area.
