Apprenticeship Programs
Terra State has provided related apprenticeship training for over 70 companies for the skilled trades since 1969. Our apprenticeship training programs focus on industrial trades and manufacturing. Courses taken can be used as a pathway to a certificate and/or a degree program in the following areas:
- HVAC
- Electrician
- Machinist
- Millwright
- Mechanics
- Multi Craft
- Tool and Die Making
- Welders
- Machine Set-Up
- Robotic Set-Up
- Hydraulics and Pneumatics/On site to customized
Our apprenticeship programs are designed to meet employer and employee needs and are in cooperation with the State of Ohio Apprenticeship Council and The US Department of Labor.
The Ohio State Apprenticeship Council registers and monitors apprenticeship programs in our state to ensure their quality and safety. Ohio has over 900 Registered Apprenticeship programs that teach high-level skills for today's work-place. Each program includes, at minimum, 2000 hours of structured on-the-job training and 144 hours per year of related technical instructions.
