This is a new opportunity to financially assist our CCP participants on their path
toward certificate or degree completion at Terra State Community College. Students
who continue on to complete a certificate and/or degree at Terra State will be eligible
to receive a scholarship each term based on the number of credit hours earned at the
point of completing high school.
30+ Hours Earned = $1,000 per semester; $2,000 per year
12 – 29 Hours Earned = $750 per semester; $1,500 per year
Less than 12 Hours Earned = $500 per semester; $1,000 per year
Steps to Apply
1. Application
For full consideration, students must have an application for admission submitted
by April 1st.
Students submitting after April 1st will be considered on a case by case basis and
funding availability.
Students must submit their CCP Transition form to their Academic Advisor to be considered
for the scholarship
2. Eligibility
All students who have previously participated in the CCP program with Terra State
and are planning to enroll for the fall term may be considered for the CCP Scholarship
Program.
Readmit and New Transfer students will have the ability to take advantage of Foundation
Scholarships.
3. Tuition and Fees Coverage
This is a last-dollar scholarship that will be applied toward tuition and fees.
Applicants may qualify for additional scholarships (Athletic, Terra Foundation) but
will not be awarded institutional aid in excess of tuition and fees. Students can
only qualify for one scholarship (Founder’s, President’s or CCP) but will not be awarded
in excess of tuition and fees.
4. Scholarship Renewal
Students have the ability to renew a scholarship for six consecutive terms by maintaining
a cumulative GPA of 2.3 or higher each term.
Summer may be used as an option but is not required when considering consecutive enrollment
terms.
5. FAFSA
The FAFSA must be filed every year in order to receive any of the scholarships noted.
6. Credit Hour Requirement
Full time enrollment is a requirement for the CCP Scholarship.
Students must be enrolled in 12 credit hours or more each semester
