What is Manufacturing Engineering?
The field of manufacturing engineering is focused on understanding and applying engineering procedures in manufacturing processes and production methods. From planning the practices of manufacturing to producing and inspecting tools used in machines, if you enjoy working with machines, are detail oriented, and enjoy solving problems, this could be the career path for you.
Students in this program learn to prepare drawings using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) program and produce parts on a variety of Computer Numerical Control (CNC) equipment. What style of classes are offered in the Manufacturing Engineering program?
